Brief touch base today. Managed to finish my white jade bead wire wrap necklace -pictures below. It’s given me a chance to practice and improve my wire skills. Only a raw beginner yet, but I think I’m improving. I’m contemplating having a go at a ring in one of my new books (The Art of Wire by J. Marsha Michler) It’s a lovely read and so far has given really clear instructions and pictures, so while that lasts I’m happy to use other people’s ways of working until I have my own.
I’m really pleased that Valerie has received my Bead Soup package and seems pleased with it. She was very complimentary about the delica-work flower that I sent so hopefully that will give her a nice starting point. No post here just yet but watch this space.
No captions needed, other than “Clean the lens before starting!”
Think I’ll probably put 6 more links in so it can be seen when I wear my cowl neck tops, a common enough occurrence when the weather is cold. It’s certainly parky today and we’ve been forecast snow for the next few days – not much, but more than enough.
Back soon, or bakson as Wol wrote to Pooh.
